Busy Week-end!

There is so  much to do this week-end...... not sure where to start! And everything sounds sparkly!!!  I know it seems early to think about Christmas, we haven't even eaten Turkey yet!!!!  But,  I need to take a break from making jewelry for our upcoming Open Studio and head out of my little workshop to some of these cool places! Things are starting this week-end and not to be missed!
On Friday, start at Jingle Junque.  Found on the southeast corner of 192nd & Dodge. Also known as the Junque Factory, there will be lots of treasures in barns and chicken coops. It's open the 18th and 19th from 9 - 5pm.  Among the vintage finds,  antiques, and architectural salvage, you may even find some hot chocolate and treats!  Hopefully I  will find some cool stuff for my sculptures......
Then head out to Michelle Minnick's Garden Gallery in Elkhorn.  "Spirits, Sparkles & Samples". Of course she will have cool stuff to buy, share some spirits and you can also sample food from local Elkhorn Restaurants.  2721 North 206th St.  4 - 9pm.
On Saturday - stop at Plum Pickens annual Christmas Open House.  7321 North 154th. 10 - 3pm.  Great artists with fabulous creations!  Folk Art, paintings, woolens, fabric and collage arts, etc, etc.  Really a good shop!
Next go to Westside Community Center at 108th and Grover for Bling in the Holidays! (see, more sparkly stuff). One of a kind jewelry, art, mosaic, fiber, pottery, lots of beautiful things you will probably want for yourself!  9am - 4pm.
THEN, go home, take a nap, and put on your dancing shoes.  Come out to hear Dave's band Shurthing at Foursomes Bar and Grill. Located at 168th and Maple.  Fun music!
I think I will need a break on Sunday.  Sleep late, make something yummy to eat, and get back to my jewelry making!  Our Open Studio - Artful Gifts will be on Dec 2nd & 3rd! 2869 Bondesson (Sharon Boynton's Studio).  11 artists making some great art for your shopping pleasure!  More info to follow!

See you at one of the stops and at the Studio on Dec 2nd or 3rd.
